Arcania The Complete Tale
Arcania: A Gothic Tale. The action of Arcania takes place ten years after Forsaken Gods (an expansion to Gothic 3), in which the Nameless Hero, seeing the upcoming conflict between the leaders of Myrtana and the orcs, decided to intervene once again. As a result of these events, the Nameless Hero finally took over the independent rule over the united lands and proclaimed himself king, taking the name Rhobar III. The player takes on the role of a new character, also known as the Nameless, who wants to take revenge on the ruler for the fact that he invaded the village on the small island of Feshyr and murdered all its inhabitants.
Arcania: Fall of Setarrif. The add-on continues the story known from the basic version of Spellbound's work, offering the opportunity to complete a new adventure. The player ends up in Setarrif - previously a thriving city, now controlled by a demon once nesting in the body of King Rhobar III. The settlement, under the influence of impure forces, plunges into anarchy and chaos, striving for an inevitable fall. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the king tries to save the city from extermination. At the same time, he wants to help his friends who are in Setarrif. This dangerous mission is assigned to the hero controlled by the player.
The plot of the game has a fairly linear character, forcing the player to visit the locations in a fixed order. To unlock another area of the world, it is usually necessary to help someone or get rid of a group of enemies. Interestingly, some major quests can be completed in several ways. There are also numerous side tasks and missions related to finding various kinds of secrets (including statues of Innos and forgotten graves).
