Alarm for Cobra 11 is a budget racing game, based on the themes of the popular German sensational series under the same title, broadcast by RTL television since 1996. The preparation of the title is the responsibility of the VCC Entertainment team, known for the popular ski jumping game Skispringen 2000, also in our country.

The plot of the series focuses on the fate of police officers patrolling German motorways, and the hallmark of the series is dynamic action and special effects. Despite its criminal character, the episodes do not lack humorous scenes, which largely determine the unflagging popularity of the subsequent seasons of the series. The creators of the computer game focused on one of the most characteristic elements of the cycle, which are dynamic car chases, offering players a simple dexterity racing enriched with a plot plot.

A total of 15 action-packed missions await the players, in which well-known characters from the series take part. While playing, we prosecute various criminals and road pirates, keeping our blood cold even at 220 km/h. Six episodes of original German motorways were mapped for the game. There is also a system of spectacular collisions, which - similarly as in the series - can be viewed from various camera settings. The release of the game was enriched with nearly half an hour video footage from the film set, focusing mainly on shooting stunts.

In April 2011 an improved version of Alarm for Cobra 11: Director's Cut was released, offering, among others, improved car models, eight additional missions and a new road race mode.
